Enviro-Pro’s natural biodegradable erosion control blankets provide an environmentally friendly solution to many erosion control problems faced by industry. Erosion control blankets are used to temporarily stabilize and protect disturbed soil from raindrop impact, runoff, to increase infiltration, decrease compaction and to conserve soil moisture. The resulting stabilized soils will allow the native vegetation to repopulate providing a permanent barrier to soil erosion. Enviro-Pro’s line of erosion control blankets are made from organic biodegradable materials such as straw and coconut fiber. These materials are used alone or in combination to provide erosion protection lasting 12 to 36 months. Our blankets are machine produced and bound on each side with photodegradable polypropylene netting.
